	לְאִמא וְאבּא שלום,
אֶתְמול חזרְנוּ מֵאיטלְיה. הטיוּל שֶלנוּ היה פשוּט נְֶהְדר!
אכלְנוּ בְמיסְעדות טובות, שׂחינו בים.
ביקרְנוּ בְמוּזֵיאונים, ואפילוּ הלכְנוּ לאופֶּרה.
הטיסה מִקנדה לרומא היְיתה ארוּכּה וְמְעַיֶיפֶת.
המטוס היה מלֵא לְחלוּטין וישבְנו לא רחוק מזוג צעיר עִם תינוק, והתינוק בכה הרְבֵּה.

אבל מִצד שֵני האוכֶל היה מְצוּיין בְ-Alitalia.

הִגַעְנוּ עיֵיפים בְיותֵר וְהלכְנוּ ישר לְ-Air B&B וְישַנוּ עֶשֶׂר שעות, עד הבוקֶר.

לְמוחורת, הֶחְלַטְנוּ לְהִסְתוֹבֵב בעיר.

זֶה היה מְהַנֶה מְאוד.

האנשים היוּ יְדידוּתִיים.ניסוּ לְדַבֵּר אַנְגְלית איתנוּ

אבל מְרְים רצְתה דַוְוקא לענות בְאיטלְקית.

אני, כמוּבן דיבַּרְתי רק אנְגְלית.

מִכּל מה שֶעשׂינוּ, הדבר הכי טוב היה האוכֶל במיסְעדות--טעים וְלא כל כך יקר

אכלְתי המון. כַנִרְאֶה יותֵר מִדיי. עליתי שלושה קילו במישְקל.

מיסעדה איטלקית

Dear Mom and Dad,

Yesterday we returned from Italy. Our trip was simply marvelous!

We ate in good restaurants. We swam in the sea.

We visited museums, and we even went to the opera.

The flight from Canada to Rome was long and tiring.

The plane was totally full and we sat not far from a young couple with a baby. And the baby cried a lot.

But on the other hand, the food was excellent on Alitalia.

We arrived extremely tired and we went straight to an Air B&B and we slept 10 hours, till the morning.

On the morrow (on the following day) we decided to go around in the city.

It was very enjoyable.

The people were friendly. They tried to speak English with us..

But Miriam just wanted to answer in Italian.

I, naturally, only spoke English.

Of all that we did, the best thing was the food in the restaurants—delicious and not so expensive.

I ate a huge amount. Apparently too much. I went up 3 pounds in weight.
