Ofra:
I heard that they built a new house on Nahshon Street. There was a little store there and a rich family bought it.
Nir:
I think that you're mistaken. I saw a friend who lives on the same street. I asked him and he told me that .. .
Ofra:
That what? That it didn't happen like that? When did he answer you?
Nir:
He answered me two days ago and he told me that a lawyer and her husband bought the store and built a house.
Ofra:
I'm really sorry. In that store I used to buy juice and soda to drink. I hoped that the store would remain in the place.
Nir:
Well, what can you do. Actually, what difference does it make?
Ofra:
I would like that there be a store in the area.
Nir:
It seems to me that they're going to build a supermarket on Bialik Street, and then there will be a store in the neighborhood.

3.2עוד על פועלי ל"הMore about final ה verbs
This class of verbs which are usually called lamed heh ל"ה verbs have a few special forms. You can find a chart of this group of verbs in Appendix A. Click Here to see the chart.
הֶעָרָה
What's in this verb's name?
In Hebrew grammar we use the letters of the word for "verb" to refer to the root letters of a verb.
So, if the first letter of a verb root is a נ we call that verb a פּ"נ verb. If the second letter of the root is a י then we call the verb a ע"ו verb. And if the third letter of the root is a ה we call the verb a ל"ה verb. Now for the truth . . . Actually, the verbs in this group originally had a י for the last letter. We will see that י appearing in some of the past tense forms and in the "passive participle". Watch for the י . It will be colored red.
